The Hollywood Fringe Festival is happening next June, and I was invited on to handle the financial side of my significant other's play Valentino: a play in verse. Since we don't want to lose our shirts or my graduate school money putting on this production, we've committed to a budget of only $3,000. This is to include the rental and rehearsal space, costumes, tech, and everything else.
I will be blogging our expenses weekly, and hopefully we'll be able to break even with ticket sales. Hopefully this blog will help other writers and producers put on interesting and unique productions on smaller budgets.
So, here we go.
